Compositions for my studio practice often begin by referencing my body and my personal ideas of feminine-ness. I am constantly comparing and considering how every woman is an archetype and represents all women throughout the ages. The female form as an object of attraction, voyeurism, fetish and source of wonder, adoration and worship influences my perspective.  Ancient stories, mythology and elements of nature inspire me to collect and create layered and abstract narratives, using mixed media and analog collage to express various representations of self and the female form.
